Turquoise open-segmented vase

Open-segmented vase made from 98 pieces of hard maple, turned on a lathe and dyed turquoise. Top, bottom and inside are painted black. Lacquer finish. Vase stands 10 inches tall and is 5-1/2 inches in diameter at its widest and 3-1/2 inches at the top and bottom.
